Finding a compact firearm that still fits well in my hands has been a challenge. I'm 6'4" and around 220 pounds, so many of the subcompact handguns don't feel safe to fire because they feel too small. This little 45 sits perfectly in my hand and targets EXACTLY where I expect it to with my natural grip, and I mean exactly. It's somehow big enough for my grip, while simultaneously compact enough to tuck away discretely in an under-the-waistband holster.
The Performance Center upgrades are super nice too. The day glow sites are great, even in low light conditions and the upgraded trigger feels just right. This particular model doesn't have a separate safety, which may be a deal-breaker for some; but wasn't for me though. I'm really happy with this firearm.
The folks at GumPrime make the purchase process easy by integrating the local gun shops right into their website for easier shipping and they provide email and text updates as your order is processed. All in all, it's been a great experience. Would repeat.
I'll include some pictures to try to illustrate the grip and actual size of the gun. You'll see that I added a rubber beaver tail to the grip for even more control.
