I used to be the armorer of a midsize police department. I know how some officers take splendid care of their issue pistols, and others...not so much. I've had good luck with buying LE trade-ins in general, and I've had good luck with GunPrime. This pistol is not an exception. I'd rate this as very good condition overall. There are a few small marks on the beavertail portion of the plastic frame and a small area of some finish wear forward of the rear sight on the top of the slide. Other than that, I think this pistol could probably be sold as a new gun, and no one would be the wiser. It's the original model of M&P, not the 2.0. The trigger is better than many 2.0 M&Ps I've handled. It still has creep, as most striker fired pistols do, and it's not 3 lbs, but it's acceptable. All in all, this is an excellent buy. If you buy one, you may not get one as nice as this one. I hope you do, or even better, but for the money, this is a solid buy, and I'm glad I bought it.

Very nice pistol. My first 45 ACP and first LE turn in. Came in original M&P box with all paperwork and first fire envelope. All three back straps and two additional mags (@$10 each). Gunprime ordering and shipping process very good. Described as VG condition, would agree with that. I cleaned it up with Ballistol. Barrel bore and other internals in great shape. Very satisfied.

This is my 4th M&P and first in 45 cal. Exactly what you’d expect from Smith & Wesson tho. Extremely pleased with this gun. It came in great condition. I’m always concerned when buying used. But just like Smith and Wesson, Gunprime always exceeds my expectations! Looking forward to my next range day!!
