Excellent tribute to the M1 Tommy Gun of WWII!

They certainly don't make them like this anymore - but wait - they do! Excellent tribute to the original M1 Tommy Gun of WWII! It's great to hold a unique gun like this made of hardwood and metal like they used to make them - and with the history behind it! Awesome!

Tommy has growing pains

Got my TM1 last Thursday and after showing it off to all my range friends finally got to feed it this past Sunday.
First "off out of the box" , its a beast to pull the charging handle. I field stripped it and had no defects. I lubed it
like it was my 64 Chevy and it was off to the range. I remember my Dad telling me they were not too good over 50 ft so I
decided to set My Target at 15 yards. With the help of a Steel Rod it got charged and I put my first 30 rounds in the black punching out a
hole that looked like a T-Bone Steak. Once the clip is empty (you only get one) the bolt locks back and it is a bit ( I said BIT) easier
to charge the next cycle. This time it was 25 years and all 30 on the black. Did not put a huge hole in it but the black looked
like chicken wire on crack (only had two off) We went on to finish off 200 rounds and returned home. The guy at Kahr recommends
you store it with the bolt back till the springs are tamed . He did warn against after market lighter springs as they may cause feeding
problems at a later date. WORD OF CAUTION : You may want to shoot this while standing. It is TOO EASY to forget that long stick
if you are using a bench. Good thing to also remember if you use a barricade.

Finally : it shoots great and the recoil is easily manageable . I can see a lot of breaking in ahead and this heavy boy
has a lot of growing pain to conquer. (Yeah I said heavy - Remember this was not put out by Armalite) The TM-1 was designed for CQB.
( Close Quarter Battle for the civies) The sights are fixed so don't expect 10 rings at 50 to 100 yards . Think of it as a 45cal 1911 on steroids.
