The CZ Shadow 2 Optics-Ready is the 9mm pistol competitive shooters desire. Features include a 4.89" barrel, and three 19 round magazines. It is pre-cut for an optic plate for a red dot sight and also comes with adjustable sights. The mag release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings and the trigger has a crisp, clean pull.
CZ SHADOW 2 OPTICS-READY FEATURES
Finally bound for US soil, this variant of the CZ Shadow 2 is pre-cut for an optic plate system to allow the mounting of a red dot sight. Just as the standard CZ Shadow 2 has become the gun of choice for many USPSA Production Division competitors, the Shadow 2 Optics-Ready is ideal for USPSA Carry Optics. Building on the base Shadow 2, the OR has a slightly different slide profile to allow for its optic plate system. The Shadow 2’s swappable mag release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings to allow shooters to set it in the spot most comfortable for them. Best of all, new trigger components give smooth DA and crisp, clean SA while drastically reducing trigger reset. A hardy nitride coats the entire pistol, leaving it nearly impervious to corrosion, while the frame gets an additional layer of our black Polycoat finish. Thin blue aluminum grips have healthy checkering to match the fine front and backstrap checkering of the pistol itself. Sitting atop the slide are a set of target sights — fiber optic on front and a serrated, black HAJO rear (click adjustable for elevation, drift adjustable for windage).

This is my second shadow 2. Bought it for a backup USPSA gun. Was pleasantly surprised it came with nickel mags and rear slide serrations. Excellent price, cheap and fast shipping. Will use gunprime again. A+++

I have 3 other shadow 2s. I love the platform and shoot them competitively. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because cz is shipping these with the low profile safeties and charging 89 dollars for the extended safety. My 2 iron sight guns came with the safety installed and my czc optics ready came with an extended in the case. This one however did not and that's extremely annoying.
Purchased this to use as a race gun for USPSA Carry Optics matches. Shot fantastic out of the box, and with a few upgrades, I can't imagine a flatter shooting gun.
