Nice Little Gun

Operates well, cycles fine with anything that is around 970 fps or more, haven't gotten to try anything in 800s but CCI Quiet 22lr 710fps subs do not cycle, they rack the slide & eject mostly & cock the hammer, but don't chamber a new round. Have ran Federal subs, CCI subs & CCI standard velocity and it works well suppressed. The CCI subs & Federal Subs seem to be fairly undergassed though, since they eject forward and not to the side or back.
Being able to flip the barrel up & load a round is a nice way to load one in the chamber & start without racking the slide. Racking the slide can be a little difficult since it is so small and hard to get a good grip on, and the slide is a little stiff.
Trigger pull is nice and light with the hammer cocked, you have to pull the trigger almost to where it touches the grip before it fires.
The sights are too low for a suppressor, but you can still kind of use them to aim if the target is bigger and you just see the top of the target over the suppressor.
It is still loud enough where you would want to wear earplugs with a suppressor, but it is very nice suppressed. The sound is more of a high pitched close bang shooting CCI & Federal subs than a lower sounding bang when firing the cci quiets, but the CCI standard velocity almost sounded a little quieter, or like the sound was further away/down range than the CCI & Federal subs.
You can load 8 rounds in the magazine, but it is very tight & doesn't cycle well, so 7 should be the limit. Loading the mag can be a little difficult since there isn't really anything you can push down to help compress the spring, there is a small screw that you can pull down on either side & it helps but hard to get a good grip on it.
Overall would definitely recommend, just wish I had got it when there was a rebate on them about a year ago.

Nice little pocket pistol

I've had the pistol a couple weeks now so I have yet to fire too many rds thru it, I did burn up a magazine (7rds) of CCI 22lr Stingers, and of the 7 rds I did have 1 misfire but that could be the ammo. The thing that I don't care for is the 7 rd mag, would like it to be a 12-15 rd. The walnut grips are quality expected from a Beretta, and it shoots quite nice

Great little pocket pistol

This gun is great at the range and really fun to shoot suppressed. It’s a little finicky with Ammo but overall a blast to shoot.

Needs a break in period

Shot 500 rounds of mini mags and automatch. Then cleaned it, polished the feed ramp and chamber. Now it will run cci standard with a suppressor no problem. Runs smooth. It also runs very very well with federal punch unsuppressed. Suppressed federal punch will be supersonic and gas you out. Just remember before you send it back to Beretta break it in with good ammo. There’s no excuse not too when 22lr is still reasonably cheap. Attached is a picture of it next to a Ruger mkiv for size comparison. It’s just a hair louder than a Ruger mkiv suppressed. The Beretta is way more fun to run than the Ruger due to its size and weight. Who cares if you have to aim thru the suppressor. Just get one.

Walnut version is a must have

Just got it and think it’s a very nice piece in the walnut. Handles Stingers with no issues. Won’t cycle subsonic which was expected. Very heavy recoil spring makes it hard to rack the slide but the tilt barrel solves that.

Gunprime was fast, reliable, and priced well.

Perfect Condition - Best Price

The gun was in perfect condition and about $200 cheaper than the next best deal after rebate. Very, very happy.

Awesome little piece.

It doesn’t cycle subsonic very well although it eats through regular Federal Ammo flawlessly. It feels well in the hand and has the look of a miniature Beretta 92fs. Needless to say, I like it! Not a bad deal considering it retailed for $600, but all said and done put it in my pocket for $320 with the Gunprime sale and $150 manufacturers rebate.

Fantastic Deal

I've shot 200 rounds through it so far- it's been 100% reliable with CCI Standards and CCI Mini Mags, as well as SK Flatnose Match. Thunderbolts were spotty at best, but then again they always are for me in everything I've tried.

Comparing this to an inox, non-threaded model I bought in 2020, the fit and finish is far better, it does seem far more reliable with standard velocity ammo, and the threaded barrel just begs to be suppressed. The MSRP is way too high on these, IMO, but with this deal plus rebate I was able to snag the Covert for less than the price of my Inox. Absolutely worth it!

Now to choose a 22 suppressor...

Love this pistol

I got this Bobcat Covert .22LR as a shooting mate to the .32 Tomcat I recently purchased. No thoughts of it being for self defense, just for more economical plinking and I just like it so much. Had a couple of failure to feed in the first few rounds, but after shooting a bit and oiling haven’t had any other issues. I’ve only run about 150 rounds through it at this point. This pistol feels so good in my hands, looks great and seems like such a quality piece it’s a pleasure to have. Beretta’s rebate helped swing my purchase decision right now too. Basically picked up the Tomcat and Bobcat both for about Beretta’s msrp for either one. Loving this pistol. They both go perfectly with my Beretta 84 .380. Great siblings.

Great service

I bought this and the bobcat two tone inox with the standard barrel. Great pair to have plinkering. sometimes I use the plastic grips.
