This excellent example of a Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver was manufactured in 1965. The barrel has the one-line Hartford address stamped on the top with “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45” on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two-line, three date patent marking followed by the Rampant Colt trademark. The left side of the trigger guard has the Colt triangle “VP” proof and the letter “V”, and an “S” is on the right side. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the grip straps under the grip. The inside of each grip panel is marked “307”. The assembly number “461” is stamped on the loading gate and the rear right side of the frame. It is fitted with checkered plastic grips with the Rampant Colt on the top of each panel.
Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 99% of the original fiery case colors and blue finish. There are some faint scratches and light handling marks overall, and the cylinder has a light drag line, flash marks, and so
