Manufactured in 1984, this revolver is built on the black powder style frame and features the four major styles of Colt engraving and smooth grips marked with “R. Henshaw 1831/L. Nimschke 1850-1900/C. Helfricht 1871-1921/Contemporary” on the left and fitted with silver Rampant Colt “Colt/150” medallions. The revolver displays American scroll and punch dot engraving of slightly different styles used throughout Colt’s long history, Nimschke stars on the sides of the frame, geometric/shell designs on the recoil shield and loading gate, a Rampant Colt motif with “Colt/150” on the top of the back strap, and “Colt Engraving Sampler” along the rear of the back strap. Aside from those noted above, it has the standard Colt markings and features. Includes a red Colt Custom Shop box numbered to the gun with papers. Near new with minimal handling marks overall, and a faint drag line. The grips are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with corner and edge wear.
